Stats
Bio
Recruited from Rochester in the Bendigo Football League after six seasons of senior country football, Kevin Barrett arrived at Collingwood as a mature-age prospect in 1940. He made an immediate impact on the scoreboard, managing to average better than a goal a game during his brief VFL tenure. After a single season and four games with the Magpies, Barrett crossed to South Melbourne for the 1941 season, where he added another four games and six goals to his tally. A handy forward who knew where the goals were, his league career was short-lived, concluding after just eight senior appearances across two clubs during the tumultuous Second World War era.
