Bio
Kevin Bradley was a Western Australian recruit whose VFL opportunities were stifled by the presence of the legendary John Coleman. Originally from Mt Hawthorn, Bradley stood out of professional football for the entire 1952 season to secure a clearance to Essendon, keeping fit with Myer in the amateurs. He quickly proved his scoring power in the seconds, topping the VFL reserves goalkicking table in 1953, but found his path to the senior full-forward post blocked by the Bombers' icon. After managing just five senior games at Windy Hill, he crossed to Richmond midway through the 1954 season in search of regular selection. Bradley made an immediate impact at Tigerland, booting 10 goals in six matches, before eventually returning to his home state to continue his career with West Perth.
