Bio
Recruited from East Perth in the WAFL, Kevin Brown made the cross-country journey to join Geelong in 1945. Arriving at Kardinia Park as the competition adjusted to the immediate post-war era, he was utilized primarily in defence, playing a scoreless career that focused on stopping opposition forwards rather than attacking flair. He was a consistent selection during his first two seasons, managing 22 games between 1945 and 1946, but opportunities dried up in his final year. Brown concluded his VFL tenure after the 1947 season, having provided valuable depth to the Cats during their post-war roster consolidation.
