Bio
A prolific Tasmanian junior who caught the eye of mainland scouts after booting a staggering 173 goals for Yeoman in 1951, Kevin Flint arrived at Collingwood with significant expectation. The son of Burnie footballer Nat Flint, he was a medium-sized full-forward known for his astute reading of the play and a reliable kicking style often compared to Geelong star George Goninon. Despite a promising start where he slotted two long goals on debut against North Melbourne in wet conditions, his time at Victoria Park was heavily impacted by thigh and foot injuries. He managed just four senior appearances across two seasons before departing to captain-coach Osborne in the Riverina and later winning back-to-back best and fairest awards with St Arnaud.
