Bio
Recruited from Preston YCW, Kevin Hart was a diminutive rover who commenced his league career with Fitzroy in 1947 following service in the Royal Australian Navy during World War II. Standing just 171cm, he spent three seasons at Brunswick Street battling for regular selection before crossing to Carlton for the 1950 season. Hart managed five senior appearances for the Blues but was unable to cement a long-term position at Princes Park. While his VFL tenure was brief, he established a formidable legacy in local football, becoming a star in the Diamond Valley Football League where he won two league best and fairest awards with Macleod and captain-coached Heidelberg to back-to-back premierships in the late 1950s.
