Bio
Recruited from West Footscray, Kevin Jackman was a crafty left-footed rover who made a significant impact during a brief but memorable stint at the Western Oval. After winning the Gardiner Medal as the reserves' best and fairest in his debut 1965 season, he elevated his game in 1966, becoming one of the few Bulldogs to play every match and finishing as the club’s leading goalkicker. Known for his clever positioning and ability to rest effectively in the forward pocket, Jackman was a natural ball-winner who eventually transitioned to the VFA in 1969, where he enjoyed premiership success and team of the decade honours with Williamstown. He maintained a lifelong connection to the Bulldogs, returning to the club in the 1990s to serve as a forward scout and assistant coach.
