Bio
Recruited from St Arnaud in the North Central Football League, Kevin Meade was a mid-sized utility who earned his chance at North Melbourne in the late 1950s. He struggled to cement a permanent spot in the senior lineup at Arden Street, managing just four appearances across two seasons while balancing his football commitments with a career in the police force. After finding opportunities limited at VFL level, Meade transferred to the VFA, where he had a brief stint with Sandringham before crossing to Mordialloc. He went on to become a consistent contributor for the Bloods during their early years in the Association.
