Bio
Recruited from the country town of Talbot in central Victoria, Kevin Roche was a utility who earned a brief opportunity with South Melbourne during the 1967 season. Standing 183cm, he possessed the frame to play in key defensive or flanking roles and was brought into the senior lineup to bolster the Swans' rotation. He managed six games in his solitary year at the Lake Oval, gathering modest possession numbers but failing to trouble the scorers. Unable to cement a permanent spot in the side, Roche’s VFL career was confined to that single winter before he departed the league.
