Stats
Bio
Kevin Tame was a solid half-back recruited from the Preston District who earned a late-season call-up for Fitzroy during their 1952 finals push. After plying his trade in the thirds, he broke into the senior side for the Round 17 clash against Hawthorn and held his place for the final three games of the year. A reliable rather than flashy defender, Tame played his role in a competitive lineup that ultimately finished fifth, missing the finals only by percentage. Despite showing promise during his brief cameo in the number 11 guernsey, his VFL career was confined to that single month of football.
