Teams

Recruited from the Gippsland Power with pick 23 in the 2009 National Draft, Koby Stevens began his career at West Coast, where he found it difficult to break into an established midfield rotation. Seeking greater opportunities in his home state, he requested a trade to the Western Bulldogs at the end of 2012, where he quickly developed a reputation as a hard-edged, contested ball-winner. Although he was a regular contributor during the Bulldogs' rise under Luke Beveridge, injury timing and depth ultimately cost him a place in the historic 2016 premiership side. Stevens crossed to St Kilda the following season, adding a defensive string to his bow as a run-with player, but his career was cut short in 2018 when severe, persistent concussion symptoms forced him into early retirement.
