Bio
Selected by Greater Western Sydney with pick 12 in the 2012 National Draft, Kristian Jaksch was a highly touted key position prospect from the Oakleigh Chargers known for his booming left-foot kick and capacity to play at either end of the ground. After managing just seven games in two seasons with the Giants, he requested a trade to Victoria and joined Carlton ahead of the 2015 season in a deal that saw the Blues part with pick 7. Despite arriving with expectations of becoming a pillar of the club's spine, Jaksch struggled to translate his junior potential into senior performance, hampered by injuries and an inability to lock down a permanent role as either a forward or defender. He added only seven games to his career tally over three years at Princes Park before being delisted at the conclusion of the 2017 season.
