Bio
Recruited from Peel Thunder with pick 47 in the 2006 National Draft, Kyle Reimers was a mercurial half-forward known as much for his colourful boots as his potent left foot. He possessed natural goal sense and genuine X-factor, highlighted by a career-best eight-goal haul against Gold Coast in 2011 that earned him three Brownlow votes. Despite his obvious talent and ability to break games open, questions surrounding his training standards and defensive pressure often limited his consistency at senior level. He struggled to cement a permanent spot under coach James Hird and was delisted at the conclusion of the 2012 season, ending his time at Windy Hill as a player who offered glimpses of brilliance but ultimately fell short of his potential.
