Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Moe Football Club in the Gippsland League, Lachlan Sim was a diminutive utility selected by the Brisbane Bears with pick 58 in the 1988 National Draft. Standing just 174cm, he joined the club during its chaotic formative years at Carrara, where he served as a depth player capable of rotating through the midfield or resting in a pocket. Although his senior opportunities were sporadic, yielding 21 games over three seasons, Sim secured a unique place in the club's history as a member of the 1991 Reserves premiership team—the first silverware ever won by the Brisbane Bears. Following his stint in Queensland, he returned to Victoria and became a significant figure in the Gippsland region, eventually coaching the Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup.
