Bio
Recruited from VFA club Oakleigh, Lance Taylor was a diminutive rover who earned a brief opportunity with St Kilda during the 1974 season. Standing just 170cm, he faced a significant size disadvantage but utilized his agility and ground-level skills to compete in the midfield and forward line. He broke into the senior side to play five matches that year, managing to boot a solitary goal while gathering possessions around the contest. Unable to cement a permanent place in the Saints' rotation, Taylor's career at the elite level was limited to that single season before he departed the club.
