Bio
Making his debut as an 18-year-old, Lawrie Delaney was a brief inclusion in the St Kilda lineup during the club's winless 1901 season. Functioning as a forward, he managed to contribute two goals across his two senior appearances, a credible return given the Saints' profound difficulties in generating scores at the time. Despite showing an ability to find the goals in a struggling side, his VFL career was short-lived, concluding after just a fortnight of senior football at Junction Oval.
