Bio
Recruited from VFA club Brunswick, Len Blackley broke into the Fitzroy lineup midway through the 1935 season. The Clifton Hill local made his debut in a Round 13 loss to Collingwood and held his place for the subsequent match against Carlton, managing to boot a goal in each of his two senior appearances. Despite showing early promise in front of the sticks, Blackley's time at the top level was fleeting, and he concluded his brief VFL career with two goals from two games before departing the league.
