Teams

Recruited from the formidable Essendon Association side in the VFA, Leo Duff arrived at St Kilda during the 1908 season with experience in the state's toughest second-tier competition. The South Australian-born forward made a notable impact upon his selection in Round 7, debuting in a celebrated upset victory over Collingwood at the Junction Oval where he booted a goal to help the struggling Saints to a comfortable 41-point win. Despite this promising start, Duff's VFL tenure was incredibly brief; he retained his spot for the following week's loss to University but did not feature again, finishing his league career with just two senior appearances before fading from the top level.
