Bio
Recruited from Wangaratta in the Ovens and Murray Football League, Les Brennan joined North Melbourne for the 1931 season. He operated primarily as a forward, demonstrating an ability to hit the scoreboard by averaging a goal a game across his short tenure at VFL level. Despite playing the first eight games of the season and showing promise in front of the sticks, his time at Arden Street was confined to a single year. Brennan eventually departed the league after just eleven senior appearances, leaving a brief legacy as a country recruit who filled a role during a transitional era for the club.
