Bio
Recruited from the local western suburbs ranks via Newport and the Williamstown Presbyterians, Lindsay Baglin broke into the VFL as a teenager with Footscray in 1947. He managed just a single senior appearance for the Bulldogs before finding himself on the outer at the Western Oval, prompting a switch to North Melbourne for the 1949 season in search of greater opportunities. A lightly-built utility who could drift forward, Baglin managed to impact the scoreboard with two goals during his five-game stint at Arden Street. Despite the change of scenery, he was unable to secure a permanent place in the senior lineup and finished his brief VFL career at the conclusion of the year, standing as one of the many fringe players who populated team lists in the immediate post-war era.
