Stats
Bio
A diminutive rover hailing from the mining town of Broken Hill, Lindsay Beck arrived at Hawthorn with a strong interstate pedigree. Before testing himself in the VFL, he had already established himself in South Australia, notably winning a premiership with Port Adelaide in 1921 and spending a season with Glenelg. Beck moved to Victoria for the 1926 season alongside his South Broken Hill teammate Tom Everuss, hoping to bolster the lineup of the struggling young club. He made his debut against North Melbourne in Round 2, but his stint at the top level was fleeting; unable to secure a regular spot in the side, he played just two matches before returning home to resume his career in the Broken Hill league.
