Bio
Recruited from VFA club Preston, Lindsay Green was a solid mid-sized player who found opportunities scarce during his brief stint at South Melbourne. He made his senior debut in the final round of the 1952 season against Footscray, but struggled to retain his spot and spent the entire 1953 season out of the senior side. Green earned a recall for three matches in 1954, where he booted his solitary VFL goal, but he was unable to cement a permanent place in the Bloods' lineup. Following his short trial at the elite level, he returned to Preston where he enjoyed a sustained career in the Association until the late 1950s.
