Bio
Recruited from West Adelaide with pick 32 in the 2002 National Draft, Luke Jericho was an athletic medium forward whose career was defined by flashes of brilliance punctuated by injury and inconsistency. Capable of taking spectacular overhead marks and breaking lines with his speed, he offered a dynamic option inside 50 but struggled to cement a permanent spot in Neil Craig's disciplined setup. While he showed significant promise during the 2005 and 2006 seasons—most notably kicking a clutch match-winning goal against Collingwood at the MCG in Round 17, 2006—he was often viewed as a mercurial talent unable to deliver sustained output at the senior level. Hampered by shoulder and sternum injuries later in his tenure, Jericho managed just 33 games over six seasons before being delisted by the Crows at the conclusion of 2008.
