Stats
Bio
Recruited from Swan Districts with pick 13 in the 2008 Rookie Draft, Luke Miles was a tall defender who spent the majority of his three-year tenure at St Kilda waiting for an opportunity behind an entrenched, high-performing defensive unit. Playing under Ross Lyon during the Saints' peak years, Miles eventually earned a senior elevation and made his debut in Round 22, 2010, as the club managed player loads heading into September. He performed well enough to hold his spot for the Qualifying Final loss against Geelong, appearing on the big stage in just his second game, but was subsequently omitted for the remainder of the finals series. Despite breaking into the side at the most critical juncture of the season, he was delisted following the 2010 Grand Final replay, marking a swift end to his time at the elite level.
