Bio
Recruited from Old Haileyburians, Luke Trainor was a forward who made a brief but effective cameo for St Kilda during the 1926 season. He wasted little time impacting the scoreboard, slotting a major on debut against Hawthorn and finishing his short VFL tenure with a tidy average of a goal a game. Despite showing he could find the big sticks at the Junction Oval, his senior career was restricted to just four appearances scattered throughout the year, and he eventually left the top level to continue his football journey in the country leagues with Myrtleford.
