Bio
Recruited from Terang via the Geelong Falcons, Luke Vogels earned his opportunity with Sydney via the 2005 Rookie Draft. Elevated to the senior list midway through his first season, the key forward made an immediate impression with his ability to present up the ground and take contested marks, featuring in 11 games during the club's premiership year. Despite this promising start, Vogels found it difficult to command a regular position in a forward structure heavily reliant on Barry Hall and Michael O'Loughlin, adding just six games over the next two years before being delisted at the end of the 2007 season.
