Bio
Recruited from Sturt in the SANFL, Malcolm Greenslade was a tall forward who arrived at Richmond with a reputation for strong marking and accurate kicking. He made a startling start to his VFL career in 1971, booting three goals on debut against St Kilda before adding another four against South Melbourne in his second outing. However, this blistering start was brought to a premature halt when he sustained a serious knee injury, effectively ending his time at the top level after just a fortnight. While he eventually returned to South Australia to continue his football journey, his brief stint at Punt Road remains notable for his exceptional strike rate and the misfortune that denied him a longer tenure in the yellow and black.
