Stats
Bio
A persistent mature-age recruit, Marcus Marigliani established himself as a dominant VFL midfielder before earning a brief opportunity at the elite level. After impressing with the Frankston Dolphins and winning a Best and Fairest for Essendon's VFL affiliate, he was taken by the Bombers in the 2010 Rookie Draft as a readymade on-baller. Known for his elite endurance and ability to find the football, he played two senior games in 2010 but was unable to secure a long-term position in the senior side. Although his primary AFL stint ended quickly, Marigliani remained a high-calibre state league performer and returned to the club in 2015 as one of the experienced top-up players recruited to field a team during the NAB Challenge amidst the club's supplements saga suspensions.
