Bio
Recruited from East Fremantle as a long-term prospect, Mark Bradly was a towering ruckman and forward who faced a frustrating battle with injury throughout his time at Melbourne. Selected with pick 55 in the 1995 National Draft, the 197cm West Australian spent his first two seasons developing in the reserves before finally earning his senior debut in Round 10, 1998. He showed glimpses of his potential as a contested target, booting three goals in four matches that year, but his momentum was halted by a serious knee injury that wiped out his 1999 campaign. Although the Demons offered him a lifeline by redrafting him as a rookie for the 2000 season, a second major knee injury struck him down before he could return to the field, ultimately ending his AFL career. Bradly later salvaged some continuity at the state level, playing for North Ballarat in the VFL.
