Bio
Recruited from Mt Eliza in the Mornington Peninsula, Mark Foyster was a local product who joined St Kilda during a particularly bleak period for the club in the mid-1980s. Standing 183cm, he was a rangy utility best suited to the wing or half-forward flank, tasked with providing run and link-up play. Despite the Saints' persistent struggles at the bottom of the ladder during his tenure, Foyster found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in the senior side, often hovering on the fringe of selection. He managed just nine senior appearances across three seasons at Moorabbin, eventually departing the VFL scene at the conclusion of the 1985 season as the club continued its aggressive list turnover.
