Bio
Recruited from Fawkner, Mark Majerczak was a handy left-footed forward pocket who struggled to cement a regular spot in a powerful Carlton lineup during the late 1980s. Despite showing promise with his goal sense—averaging better than a goal a game—and an ability to find space inside 50, he remained on the fringe of senior selection at Princes Park for five seasons. He often found himself behind established stars in the pecking order, managing just 17 games in Navy Blue while dominating in the reserves. Seeking a fresh start, he moved to the Bulldogs via the 1991 Preseason Draft but was unable to break into the senior side at the Western Oval, ending his AFL career without adding to his game tally.
