Bio
Recruited from West Perth, Mark McLeod was selected by Richmond with pick 24 in the 1988 National Draft. A utility capable of playing on the wing or across half-back, he struggled to make an immediate impact at Punt Road, managing just a solitary senior appearance across two seasons before being delisted. He was handed a lifeline by Hawthorn in the 1991 Pre-Season Draft, joining a powerhouse squad destined for the premiership that year. Despite the opportunity to train alongside elite standards, McLeod added only two more games to his tally in the brown and gold before his AFL career concluded, eventually seeing him return to the WAFL.
