Bio
Recruited from South Adelaide with pick 13 in the 1990 National Draft, Mark McQueen arrived at Richmond with high expectations but struggled to establish himself as a regular fixture in the senior side. Standing 197cm, he was a versatile tall capable of deputising in the ruck or filling key positions at either end of the ground, offering structural flexibility to the Tigers during a turbulent era for the club. Despite his physical attributes and early draft status, McQueen found it difficult to string consistent performances together, managing just 34 games across five seasons at Punt Road. He remained on the fringe of selection throughout his tenure and was eventually delisted at the conclusion of the 1995 season, leaving the AFL without fulfilling the potential suggested by his junior pedigree.
