Bio
Recruited from Doncaster in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, Mark Trewella was a versatile utility who possessed a strong overhead mark but found himself caught between levels for much of his career. While he struggled to cement a permanent spot in the seniors at Fitzroy, he was a dominant force in the seconds, winning three reserves best and fairest awards and playing in the club's 1989 reserves premiership. Seeking a lifeline after four seasons with the Lions, he was snapped up by Richmond in the 1991 Pre-Season Draft. However, he could only manage four senior appearances at Punt Road before being delisted, eventually continuing his football journey in the VFA with Prahran and Box Hill.
