Bio
Recruited from Glenelg in the SANFL, Mark Viska joined the Adelaide Crows via the 1993 Pre-Season Draft. He quickly established a reputation as an uncompromising defender, utilising a rugged, physical playing style to intimidate opposition forwards and impact contests in the back half. Despite his willingness to put his body on the line, Viska struggled to secure a permanent position in the senior lineup, battling injuries and strong competition for spots as the Crows built towards their maiden premiership. He served as a depth defender for five seasons, making 33 appearances and providing defensive grit when called upon, before being delisted following the club's 1997 flag-winning campaign.
