Bio
Recruited from Ballarat, Martin Gullan was a goldfields product who made a brief cameo for South Melbourne at the turn of the century. He broke into the senior side during the 1900 VFL season, managing to boot a goal during his short time at Lake Oval. Despite showing he could hit the scoreboard, Gullan's tenure at the elite level was limited to just two matches before his career in the metropolitan league came to a close. He remains a footnote in the club's history as one of the many regional talents trialled during the league's formative era.
