Marty Pask

A powerfully built key position prospect recruited from the Western Magpies in Queensland, Marty Pask entered the AFL system via the Brisbane Lions' rookie list. He earned a mid-season elevation in 2006 and seized his opportunity, playing eight consecutive games as a forward-ruck utility where his mature frame allowed him to compete physically against seasoned opponents. Despite this breakthrough patch, the Lions delisted him at the end of the season, prompting the Western Bulldogs to hand him a lifeline in the rookie draft for 2007. Pask spent his year at the Kennel turning out for VFL affiliate Werribee, but injury and a formidable Bulldogs lineup prevented him from adding to his senior tally before his final delisting. While his time on the field was brief, Pask established a lasting legacy in the industry as a prominent player agent, managing the careers of several premiership stars and All-Australians.
