Bio
Hailing from the Mornington Peninsula town of Hastings, Matt Incigneri was a defender whose brief VFL career shadowed the movements of his influential older brother, Len. He arrived at Richmond in 1911, breaking into the senior side for a single game while his brother was serving as the Tigers' captain-coach. Unable to secure a regular berth at Punt Road, Incigneri eventually followed his brother to Melbourne, joining the Redlegs midway through the 1913 season. His time at the MCG proved equally sporadic, as he remained on the fringes of selection and managed just two appearances over two years before his league tenure came to a close.
