Bio
Recruited from East Fremantle with pick 39 in the 2012 National Draft, Max Duffy was a clever small forward who faced difficulty breaking into a disciplined Fremantle lineup under Ross Lyon. He made his debut late in the 2014 season, booting two goals in his first match against Geelong, but persistent hamstring and shoulder injuries hindered his development. Delisted at the end of 2015 after just three senior appearances, Duffy pivoted to American football via Prokick Australia. He played for the University of Kentucky, where he became one of the most effective punters in college history and won the Ray Guy Award in 2019, later spending time on NFL practice squads and in the USFL.
