Stats
Bio
Recruited from Edenhope in the Wimmera district, Max Galpin was a tall utility who briefly broke into the Fitzroy lineup during the 1956 season. Standing 183cm, he possessed the physical attributes to play as a key position prospect and was tested at senior level as the Lions sought to add depth to their squad. He made his debut in Round 4 against Footscray at the Western Oval, managing four appearances in a five-week block that concluded with a match against Geelong at Kardinia Park. Unable to register a goal or secure a permanent spot in the starting eighteen, his VFL career was short-lived, serving as a brief interlude in a football journey primarily rooted in country Victoria.
