Bio
Recruited from the local Footscray Tech Old Boys, Max Isaac was a compact utility who battled for senior opportunities during the club's post-war era. Standing 175cm, he was a solid operator capable of drifting forward to hit the scoreboard, though he often found himself on the fringe of the best 18. His career was defined by persistence rather than continuity, featuring sporadically between 1947 and 1950 before fighting his way back for a final stint in 1952 after spending a full season out of the side. While never a permanent fixture, Isaac served as a reliable depth player who filled gaps when required, typifying the dedicated local recruit of the period.
