Bio
Recruited from Swan Districts as a zone selection, Michael Brown was a solid-bodied key forward who provided depth for Fremantle during the club's foundation years. Standing 189cm with a strong frame, he was capable of holding down centre half-forward and providing a physical contest inside 50. He made his debut against Collingwood at Victoria Park in 1996, managing 10 games in his first season as the Dockers looked to establish their forward structure. Despite his contested marking ability, Brown struggled to cement a permanent spot in the senior side, often floating between the AFL and the WAFL to build form. He remained on the list until 1999, finishing his career with 22 games before being delisted as the club reshaped its squad.
