Bio
Recruited from Swan Hill, Michael Frost was a strong-bodied utility who made his initial impact at Footscray during the club's resurgence in the early 1990s. He cemented his place in the senior side in 1992, featuring in the Bulldogs' finals campaign where he kicked valuable goals in both the Semi Final victory over St Kilda and the Preliminary Final defeat to Geelong. Surprisingly delisted following the 1993 season, he was immediately snapped up by St Kilda with pick 8 in the National Draft—a remarkably high selection for a recycled player. However, he managed just one season at Moorabbin before shifting his focus to the VFL, where he forged a legendary career with Werribee. A dominant ball-winner at state league level, Frost captained the Tigers and won the 1998 J.J. Liston Trophy with a polling record of 32 votes that stood for decades.
