Bio
Recruited from North Adelaide in the SANFL, Michael Jez was a wingman who arrived at Carlton during one of the club's most dominant eras. He made his debut in Round 9 of the 1979 season against Fitzroy but found regular opportunities scarce within a star-studded midfield that would go on to win the premiership that year. After managing just two senior appearances in his debut season and failing to break into the senior lineup throughout 1980, he eventually returned to South Australia to continue his career with the Roosters.
