Bio
Recruited from Swan Districts in the WAFL, Michael Passmore arrived at North Melbourne for the 1984 season as a talented interstate import looking to make his mark in the VFL. Operating primarily as a wingman and half-back flanker, he was noted for his neat disposal and ability to link play through the midfield during a transitional era for the club. Despite his obvious skill set, Passmore found it difficult to secure a permanent position in the senior side, playing 42 games over a five-year stint that was often interrupted by inconsistent selection and strong competition for spots. He left Arden Street following the 1988 season, ultimately returning to Western Australia to resume his career at the state league level.
