Bio
Born in Adelaide but recruited from the local St Georges CYMS side, Mick Dunn was a wingman who broke into the Carlton lineup during the tumultuous Great War era. He made his senior debut as a teenager in the unique four-team 1916 season, managing just three appearances and missing out on selection for the Grand Final loss to Fitzroy. Dunn cemented his spot the following year, becoming a regular fixture on the wing throughout the 1917 and 1918 campaigns as the league grappled with player shortages. He played a total of 35 games for the Blues, offering consistent service through the war years before falling out of favour and departing midway through the 1919 season.
