Bio
Recruited from Geelong West, Mick Glenister arrived at the club as the younger brother of star forward Norm Glenister. While his sibling was a headline act, Mick carved out a role as a nuggety utility player, capable of operating effectively across both half-forward and half-back. Often considered undersized for a defensive post, he nonetheless became a reliable contributor who filled necessary gaps in the Cats' lineup during the early war years. His senior career was cut short by military service in World War II, but his connection to the club endured long after his playing days, eventually seeing him honoured as a Life Member of the Past Players and Officials Association.
