Bio
Recruited from the Northern Knights with pick 21 in the 2012 National Draft, Nathan Hrovat arrived at the Western Bulldogs with a reputation as a prolific junior ball-winner who had captained Vic Metro. However, his time at the Kennel was hampered by nagging injuries and fierce competition for midfield spots, ultimately seeing him miss out on the club's historic 2016 premiership despite featuring earlier in that campaign. Seeking greater continuity, Hrovat was traded to North Melbourne ahead of the 2017 season, where he was utilised primarily as a high-pressure small forward and rotation midfielder. While he enjoyed his most consistent football during his debut year at Arden Street, playing 22 games, he struggled to cement a permanent spot in the following seasons and was eventually delisted at the conclusion of 2020 after 69 career appearances.
