Stats
Bio
Recruited from the Port Melbourne Juniors, Ned Bowen was a serviceable utility who found a home at Princes Park for two consistent seasons. Standing 180cm, he possessed the height to compete in the air but was often utilized as a rotating forward, kicking 14 goals across his 28 games for the Blues. After holding a regular spot in the Carlton side throughout 1911 and 1912, he crossed to St Kilda for the 1913 season. However, he struggled to break into a surging Saints lineup that would eventually reach that year's Grand Final, managing just two senior appearances before finishing his VFL career.
