Bio
Selected with pick 16 in the 2018 National Draft, Ned McHenry arrived at Adelaide from the Geelong Falcons touted for his elite endurance and infectious energy. He established himself as a high-pressure small forward who prioritised tackling and defensive acts inside 50, often tasked with disrupting opposition defenders rather than accumulating high disposal numbers. While he became a popular figure within the club for his work ethic and character, McHenry faced ongoing challenges with disposal efficiency and scoreboard impact, which frequently left him on the fringe of the best 22 or rotating through the role of tactical substitute. After managing 70 games over six seasons, he was delisted by the Crows at the conclusion of the 2024 season.
