Bio
Recruited from Subiaco with pick 10 in the 2021 National Draft, Neil Erasmus entered the AFL system as a tall, high-endurance midfielder known for his overhead marking and relentless work rate. Despite his high draft pedigree and prolific form at WAFL level, the Hale School product found it difficult to break into a settled Fremantle engine room anchored by established stars, often oscillating between the senior side and the state league. Consequently, his early career was defined by opportunities as the tactical substitute or filling gaps due to injury rather than holding a fixed position in the rotation. With 39 games to his name across his first four seasons, Erasmus remains a capable depth midfielder striving to translate his elite running capacity into a permanent spot in the Dockers' best 22.
